ABOUT US

A few words about us

We are here because

When a gun is pointed at a cow inside a slaughterhouse, and the cow is screaming “please, please….” We are listening.

Pregnant pigs, weighing 300 kilograms, are kept in one square meter wide metal stalls. They can’t even turn around, not to mention walking. Under such conditions, abortion results in a trip to slaughterhouse before they become pork on our plates.

A single slaughterhouse normally handles more than two million chicken each week. Each chicken is shackled, stunned, cut and more.

Shackling breaks chicken’s legs, can dislocate their hips, and injure their wings as they flap in distress.

Stunning electrocutes chicken as their head is dragged through a shallow water bath that has been electric fired.

Chicken will bleed to death and be shackled on the conveyor after the cutting process, some of them are still in full consciousness. These are the necessary steps for them to become drumsticks and chicken breasts on our table.

Do you know? When yellow chicks come out of the shell, what is waiting for those little roosters, are to be picked up from chick piles, sent directly to hoist, or be gassed. Because they are considered as waste products in egg and chicken production.

Calves are taken from their mothers because we want milk.

One leg of the sheep is hung on the hook while the other leg kicks desperately. A procedure that we might not see before we eat lamb.

Rabbits, fishes and many more…. if you want to see how they become our food, read FAQ question 16.

We are here also because vegan are such beautiful things in life that everyone in the world should not miss out. For those who haven’t been to the sea, when the worry about sharks in the sea is too much that you miss the opportunity to walk along the beach, to pick up sea shells, to surf in the waves, to enjoy the beautiful ocean view and to touch the vastness of the sea while listing to the waves, it’s really a pity.

Vegan is not simply changing the content on our plates and bowls. It’s the culinary journey to transform the food into a variety of different things that not only based on our original tastes, but also better than the original. Thousands of recipes from the vegan community, are just opening a door for the imagination and creativity of human beings.

For me, vegan is just a start to resume my taste buds’ function.

There are more. We are healthier and energetic after becoming a vegan, our lifestyle are more enjoyable than ever.

No matter whether you are a vegan or not, bring friends and family to vegan restaurants. It shows your compassion to animals and your responsibility as a member of the earth. Being backed by hundreds of vegan restaurants introductions, you will be loved by them.

Switching to vegan, is this a challenge to our habits around food we’ve had for thousands of years? Or is this only a correction of an error that has been overlooked for over thousand years?

In “History”, we will tell you why.
