1. Is very nutritious. Quinoa is an edible seed that has become increasingly popular among health-conscious people. It’s loaded with many important nutrients.
2. Contains antioxidants that are have anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-cancer and anti-depressant effects. Quinoa contains large amounts of flavonoids, including quercetin and kaempferol. These are potent plant antioxidants with numerous health benefits. These important molecules have been shown to have anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-cancer and anti-depressant effects in animal studies.
3. Help reduce blood sugar levels, lower cholesterol, increase fullness. Quinoa is much higher in fibre than most grains. Numerous studies show that soluble fibre can help reduce blood sugar levels, lower cholesterol, increase fullness and help with weight loss.
