Panko Crumbed Tofu Tomato Burger
4 pcs Firm Tofu (from 900g 12 pcs pack)
one tomato (150g) for patties, one tomato for topping
1 ½ tbsp plain flour
½ cup glutinous rice flour
3 tbsp Panko bread crumb
Multigrain Buns
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp sugar
½ tsp oil for patties mix and 1 tbsp oil to cook the patties
1. Dry Cos lettuce with paper towel.
2. Make patties with gentle force.
3. Carefully control cooktop heat to cook patties to have the both sides in crispy golden brown.
4. Use wavy edge knife to cut buns and tomatoes.
5. Warm buns to get best taste result.
6. Sauce and topping veggie stick to this recipe.
Bedding: Vegan Mayonnaise
Topping: Cos lettuce, Tomato, Beetroot
Sauce: Vegan Mayonnaise
1. Pour Panko bread crumb into plate.
2. Wash Cos lettuce, dry them with paper towel.
3. Wash tomatoes. One cut to piece for topping. Dice one for patties.
4. Gentle wash Firm Tofu.
5. Mix Tofu, diced tomato, salt, sugar, oil, plain flour and half of the glutinous rice together. Then add rest of glutinous rice flour.
6. Make them into dough. Then separate them into 4 equal parts.
7. Make 4 patties from the mixture. Then stick the Panko bread crumbs onto patties.
8. Cook patties in flat pan.
9. Control heat to well cook the patties and make both sides of the patties in golden brown.
10. Make burgers with Bread bun, tomato, cos lettuce, patties. Use mayonnaise as both bedding and dressing.
11. Enjoy.
