Crispy Nuggets Parsley Pea Miso Noodle Soup
10 pcs Vegetarian Crispy Nuggets
1 bunch Parsley (120g)
1/3 cup Frozen peas
300g Noodles to suit (Fresh noodles or Dried noodles)
Miso 1 ½ tbsp
Salt ½ tsp for soup, ½ tsp for Noodle
Oil ½ tsp to fry crispy nuggets, ¼ tsp to cook parsley
Hot Water 700ml to cook noodle soup, 2 litre of Water to cook noodles
1. Cut parsley to the length around 5cm.
2. Fry crispy nuggets in the wok or flat pan will reduce oil consumption significantly.
3. Do not cook crispy nuggets in the soup.
4. No need to defrost frozen peas.
5. Let parsley and pea cook in the Miso water for 2 minutes.
6. Add salt to noodle pot will make the noodles tasty and blend with soups and veggies.
7. Cook steps A and B at the same time may speed the cooking process.
8. For better taste experience, enjoy the Crispy Nuggets Parsley Pea Miso Noodle Soup right after you cook them.
1. Wash the parsley.
2. Cut the parsley into short length, around 5cm long.
3. Following cooking steps A and B may be cooked at the same time.
A: Cook noodle topping.
1. Prepare 1 litre of hot water.
2. Heat a wok or a flat pan.
3. Add ½ tsp of oil.
4. When oil is hot, place nuggets in the wok.
5. Fry one side of the nuggets to golden brown. Reduce heat if necessary.
6. Flip the nuggets to the other side. Keep fry.
7. When both sides of the nuggets are golden brown, turn off the heat.
8. Transfer nuggets to a plate. Nuggets are fried.
9. Heat the wok again. Or use a soup pot.
10. Add ¼ tsp of oil.
11. When oil is hot, add parsley.
12. Stir parsley.
13. Add ½ tsp of salt.
14. Stir them well.
15. Pour 700ml of hot water into the wok.
16. Add 1 ½ tbsp of Miso.
17. Stir to let the Miso melt.
18. Add 1/3 cup of frozen peas. Wait for the water to boil.
19. When it is boiling, keep it boiling for 2 minutes.
20. In 2 minutes, turn off the heat. Noodle soup is done.
B. Cook noodles.
1. Add 2 litres of water into another pot. (noodle pot)
2. Heat the noodle pot and bring it to boil.
3. Add ½ tsp of salt into the noodle pot.
4. Once the noodle pot is boiled, add noodles.
5. Stir noodles.
6. When the pot is boiling again, keep the noodle boiling for 4 minutes if they are fresh noodles. Or for 10 minutes if dried noodles.
7. In 4 minutes (fresh noodles) or 10 minutes (dried noodles). Turn off the heat for noodle pot.
C. Serve
1. Transfer noodles into a bowl.
2. Scoop the soup with the vegetables to the bowl as well.
3. Place crispy nuggets on top.
4. If cooking with 2 pots at the same time, all steps may be completed quicker.
5. Enjoy.
