Millet Corn Congee Soup
1 cup Millets (Setaria Italica)
½ cup frozen corn kernels
2 litre Water
1 tsp salt
1. Wash millets with gentle water.
2. Add salt when boiling.
3. You may add corns before cooking or 10 minutes before turning off the heat. Either way is fine.
4. Only stir the soup after turning off the heat.
5. Not recommend to add much salt. Bit savory is better for this recipe.
1. Gently wash millet and add them into soup pot.
2. Add 2 litres of water into the pot as well.
3. Heat the pot and bring it to boil.
4. Add 1 teaspoon of salt.
5. Reduce heat. Still keep the soup boiling.
6. In 15 minutes, add corn kernels.
7. Keep boiling for another 10 minutes.
8. Turn off the heat.
9. Stir the soup now.
10. Enjoy.
