Parsnip Carrot Pizza
2 Parsnips (150g)
1 Carrot (80g)
½ tin of Light coconut cream (half of 270ml tin)
1 Pizza Base (or you may make your own)
60g Shredded Vegan Cheese (You may use Bio Cheese Cheddar Shred)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray (or normal oil to grease pizza tray)
1. It would be better to pre-heat oven early enough. You may pre-heat the oven before washing the vegetables.
2. Cut parsnip and carrot into pieces then to strips.
3. Keep each parsnip strip less than 1 cm thick.
4. Keeping each carrot strip less than 0.5 cm thick will be ideal for baking.
5. Spray oil or normal cooking oil can all be used to grease the pizza tray. Do not add much oil, as the oil is only to prevent pizza base stick on the pizza tray.
6. Wear thick cotton gloves when taking pizza in and out from the oven. This will protect your hands from being burned.
7. Remember to turn off the oven after you have taken the pizza out.
8. It’s best to enjoy the pizza when it is hot.
1. Pre-heat oven to 220 degrees, fan forced.
2. Wash the parsnips and carrot.
3. Peel off parsnips’ skin. Cut the parsnips into strips. Keep each strip less than 1 cm thick.
4. Peel of carrot skin. Cut carrot into strips. Keep each strip less than 0.5 cm thick.
5. Spray oil on pizza tray.
6. Put pizza base onto the tray.
7. Scoop half can of light coconut cream on the pizza base.
8. Brush the cream evenly over the whole pizza base.
9. Add shredded vegan cheese.
10. Put parsnip strips on top of the vegan cheese.
11. Put carrot strips in between parsnip strips.
12. Upon hearing oven is preheated, put pizza tray into the oven.
13. Bake for 10 minutes.
14. After 10 minutes. Take the pizza tray out of the oven. Turn the oven off.
15. Cut pizza.
16. Enjoy.
