Normal Salt Potato Corn Pea Carrot Burger
Materials: 4 Burgers
1 large potato,
½ cup corn, pea, carrot veggie mix,
¼ cup plain flour,
2 tbsp glutinous rice flour
Ingredients:
1 tsp salt
½ tsp oil for patties mix and 1 tbsp for cook the patties
¼ tsp sugar
1 tsp water
sprinkle of black pepper
Tips:
- Defrosted mixed veggies are easy to handle with bare hand.
- After make avocado mesh, cover the mesh to prevent from rotting.
- Cooking patties is easy when we use flat pan and curved spatula.
- When oil is warm in the pan, turn off the heat. Do this when putting in patties may also protect you from being burned.
- It’s best to have the patties cooked while their surfaces are golden brown.
- Use wavy edge knife to cut buns.
- Warm buns to get the best taste result.
Others:
Bread buns.
Bedding: Fresh avocado mesh (¼ tsp salt)
Topping and filling vegetables: tomato, cucumber, beet root, snow pea sprouts
Sauce: tomato sauce (ketchup)
Procedure:
- Defrost mixed frozen vegetable of corn, pea and carrot.
- Wash the potatoes. Cut them into half or smaller.
- Place potatoes into the pot, fill water to cover half of the potato height.
- Boil potatoes. Reduce heat after water is boiling. Cook for 20 minutes.
- Wash the cucumber, tomato and snow pea sprouts.
- Wash the avocado. Peel off its skin. Sprinkle some salt. Mesh the avocado. Cover the avocado mesh to seal it from the air.
- Cut the cucumber and tomato into slices.
- After potato is cooked, turn off the heat. Take them out for cooling.
- In a large bowl, mesh the cooked potato with hands.
- Add the corn, pea, carrot mixture.
- Add a quarter cup of plain flours. One tea spoon of salt, little bit of sugar, sprinkle some pepper, and add drip around half tea spoon of oil.
- Mix all the materials and ingredients together.
- Add glutinous rice flour as we go. (2 table spoons)
- When the mixture is fully mixed and smooth, separate the dough into 4 equal parts.
- Heat a flat pan. Add 1 tea spoon of oil. When oil is warm. Turn off the heat.
- Make patties from the dough. Make them into a ball then press down to be patties.
- Place the patties in the pan. Turn on the heat.
- Reduce heat in 1 minute. Cook the patties well in the pan. Flip sides.
- Turn off the heat when patties are cooked.
- Spread avocado mesh on the bread. Make burgers with bread buns, cucumber, tomato, beet root, snow pea sprouts and cooked patties. Use tomato sauce for dressing.
